3. Project Management Education: The candidate must have completed 35 hours of project management education. This education should be from a recognized provider.
4. Exam: The candidate must pass the Project Management Professional (PMP) exam. This exam tests the candidate's knowledge of project management principles, practices, and techniques.
5. Code of Ethics: The candidate must agree to abide by the Project Management Institute's (PMI) Code of Ethics and Professional Conduct.
6. Continuing Education: The candidate must complete 60 professional development units (PDUs) every three years to maintain their certification.

7. Membership: The candidate must become a member of the Project Management Institute (PMI).
8. Language Proficiency: The candidate must have proficiency in the English language, as the PMP exam is conducted in English.
9. Character Reference: The candidate must provide references from two individuals who can attest to their professional character and project management experience.
10. Application: The candidate must submit an application to PMI, which includes their educational and professional background, project management experience, and references.
Once the candidate meets all the eligibility criteria, they can apply to take the PMP exam. Passing the exam and meeting the other requirements will result in the candidate becoming a certified Project Management Professional (PMP).
